In our breeding program we have selected individuals for their different qualities.
The results are beautiful healthy loving puppies with great dispositions. They are all well socialized and are raised in our home in a loving environment and not a kennel. They are our babies and are bred with lots of tender loving care.
Every puppy is unique in its own way. Ranging in color, size, personality, and features. I have found since I have been breeding these precious little ones that no two are alike. These little bundles of joy have exceptional personalities. Which in my opinion out suppress other dogs. These precious little Yorkies fill our lives with joy, happiness, and lots of love, cuddles and plenty of kisses. These little ones are charmers. They are full of life, courage, loyalty and affection. They are such nosy little ones but with reminders of proper behavior they learn to obey readily because they are happy to please their owners.
Grooming requirement on these little bundles require daily attention. You need to keep them brushed on a daily basis to keep the hair in great shape. They also need bathed at least once every two weeks in winter months and more often then that in summer months. There are many different Yorkie breeders out there so my advice to you is to do your home work before purchasing a puppy. My first suggestion would be never buy a yorkie pup before the age of 12 weeks. Don't just run out and buy the first puppy you see because it is so adorable. Look for a reputable Yorkie breeder, and don't be afraid to ask for references. Check them out as they should check you out before they would let you buy one of their little puppies. I myself will ask you the prospective buyer many question before determining if I will sell you one of my pups or not. I want to know about you and your home life. Along with many other questions. I will also tell you the positive and the negative about owning this breed.
I care about where my pups go and like to be kept informed on how they are, and I am always available if you need to ask me questions or just want to chat about Yorkies.
There is no such thing as a teacup or a miniature yorkie in the AKC standards. There are just different weights.
Yorkies can live up to and even beyond 12 to 15 years with the proper care and love. So remember this is a life long commitment in owning a Yorkshire terrier.
How you treat your puppy now will affect your dog's behavior forever.
